FITTER-EU General Assembly Meeting in Dublin
The FITTER-EU General Assembly was held recently at TU-Dublin to bring project partners together for an engaging and productive meeting. The meeting offered a structured opportunity to review progress, exchange ideas, and plan future actions.
Representatives from all partner organisations attended (TU-Dublin, TFC, Smart Venice, AITEC, Eurecat, WECF, UCM, SFC, Uninova, and FGB). A comprehensive reflection on the project’s accomplishments to date, as well as the difficulties during the implementation, were brought forward for consideration and evaluation. Collaborative discussions were facilitated to ensure that solutions were explored collectively, and that best practices could be shared across all participating organisations.

The members took part in a series of detailed sessions during which they shared and discussed the development of each work package. The presentations raised important questions about how far the project had developed and identified areas that would need to be focused on in the coming months. Instead of treating the meeting as just another routine update, the discussions were lively, challenging ideas and refining approaches. Partners shared about their individual Open Lab Workshops and discussed what more could be done to increase effectiveness going foward.

The focus then was given to the next steps, and also the timelines were updated ensuring that the milestones and responsibilities are clearly defined. The atmosphere in the room was both focused and optimistic, reflecting a shared belief that the project is transitioning from planning to real substantive progress.

Throughout the meeting, a strong sense of partnership could be felt. Each organization contributed a unique perspective, whether academic, technical, or operational and this diversity continues to be a source of strength for FITTER-EU. Conversations that began within the formal meeting setting, continued in the coffee breaks, where partners continued their collaboration to develop ideas and find solutions.
